Meet The Staff....

Robert Doane holds a Masters of Oriental Medicine degree in Chinese Medicine and is licensed to practice Acupuncture in the State of Washington. He is board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Mr. Doane and his wife, Anne, started the Acupuncture & Wellness Center, P.S. in Poulsbo in 1998. The clinic rapidly grew and became the largest private Chinese medical clinic in the State of Washington. Mr. Doane has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the University of Washington and has lectured extensively on health throughout India, Europe, and the United States.

Anne Doane has a Masters of Oriental Medicine degree in Chinese Medicine and is licensed to practice Acupuncture in the State of Washington. She is board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Hanover University in Germany. Mrs. Doane specializes in gynecological disorders and has an extensive background in oriental nutrition.

Steven Schermerhorn joined the Acupuncture & Wellness Center, P.S. in January of 2005. He received a Masters of Oriental Medicine degree from Bastyr University and is licensed to practice Acupuncture in the State of Washington. He is also trained in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Catherine Lu joined the Acupuncture and Wellness Center P.S. in 2007. She completed her Acupuncture degree from The Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences in 2001 followed by a 6-month intensive clinical training at First Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in China. In 2003 she became a NCCAOM national-board certified Acupuncturist and pursued further studies to obtain her Masters of Oriental Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences. Catherine is a licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist in the State of California and she is also a licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Washington.

Donna Turner was first introduced to Chinese Medicine by studying Qi Gong and receiving acupuncture treatments. She was immediately fascinated and later went on to formally study at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She graduated with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, is licensed in Washington State, and is national board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Donna joined Acupuncture & Wellness Center, P.S. in 2007.
