Adi Korman EAMP

Acupuncturist

The lifelong pursuit for peak health has led me to practice Chinese medicine and move with my family from New York City to Poulsbo, Washington to practice alongside Robert Doane.

I enrolled as the youngest student at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Long Island, NY with the single goal of learning how to most effectively apply this medicine and share this with patients all over the world. I found myself nearing the end of my training and had not attained the confidence and skills that were truly necessary for outstanding success. I was then exposed to Robert Doane’s training courses and knew instantly that I would use the uniquely effective methods he had developed in treating over 300,000 patient visits.

After further exposure, I decided to exclusively practice these methods of Distal Needling Acupuncture and Medical Pulse DIagnosis and made it my priority to practice alongside Bob. The day I passed my national board exams, I sent in my application to fulfil a residency training program at the clinic. Within 6 months, I was newly wed to the most gorgeous woman I know, moved to Poulsbo and started intensely training alongside Bob as a resident practitioner.

A career focused on peak health has also led me to high level training in various modalities of postural therapy and athletic training. I am trained in the The Egoscue Method®, a postural therapy method effective for all ages that serves as the world leader in non-medical pain relief; Revolution in Motion, a neuromuscular based conditioning program for peak athletic performance; and Functional Patterns, a training program that incorporates structural integration and with dynamic functional exercises. These three methods are integrated as an additional modality to treat the root cause of our patients issues and allow for an optimal, pain free life.

I am extremely fortunate to have this experience to provide our patients with the highest level of Chinese medicine.
