Kale, the superfood, doesn’t have to be just a salad or smoothie filler. Sautéed with garlic, it can be so much more. In our April 2019 newsletter we shared these tips from Makinze Gore from delish.com.
2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large bunch kale, stemmed and roughly chopped
Freshly ground black pepper
Pinch crushed red pepper
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
- Add kale and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring often, until kale is wilted and tender.
